What to expect

Private lessons should feel clear, useful, and low-pressure.

Your first lesson starts with your goal, your comfort level, and the kind of event, song, or dance floor you are preparing for. You do not need a partner, fancy shoes, or previous training.

  • Beginner friendly Start with practical steps you can actually remember.
  • Right instructor fit Most private lessons are taught by one of us, while group classes can include both instructors when that best fits the room.
  • Clear next step Leave knowing what to practice and whether another lesson makes sense.

Why Eric & Bria

We have lived a lot of life through dance.

Eric and Bria first connected through dance at Brigham Young University in 2008, married in 2009, and later competed professionally in American Smooth. These lessons come from that history, but they are not built for show-off dancing. They are built for people who want to feel comfortable with another person on a real dance floor.

Met through danceDance is part of our relationship, not just something we teach.
